Notice this board has been very quiet lately . . .

I just wanted to say that I have been running Pocket Stars on my laptop and Pocket PC for a few years now and have found it very useful and reliable.

The Pocket PC version I use almost every day for observations, particularly for planets and also to progressively learn the navigation stars. I also use it to find a reference star's Az / El when tracking satellites.

The laptop version is great when I travel. At home, I have used it for great circle distance, moon phases and temporarily stopping the 'realtime' to put in a specific time.

It's a great piece of software Jay!

Cheers,
