PocketStars uses a data file containing ephemeris data
for the sun, moon, and planets derived from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory
DE405 database . Unfortunately, these data files are bulky, so you
may wish to download a smaller version containing a restricted date range.
Or, you may wish to download an ephemeris with extended date ranges.
This download is optional.
Note that these files are only for use with versions of
Pocket Stars Version 2.0 or later.
For Version 1.0 ephemeris files go
